Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Tooliva handles account data, website data, and local media processing information.

Effective date: May 28, 2026

1. What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed through the Tooliva website, account system, desktop authorization flow, customer support, downloads, and membership services.

2. Information we collect

We may collect account identifiers such as email address, nickname, avatar, provider identifier, and sign-in metadata when you create or use an account.

We may also collect device, browser, log, and diagnostic data that is reasonably necessary to keep the website secure, troubleshoot issues, measure service performance, and prevent abuse.

  • Account and profile data
  • Authentication and session data
  • Transaction or membership entitlement data
  • Support communications you send to us
  • Basic technical and analytics logs

3. Local media processing

Tooliva’s core desktop workflow is built around local processing. For standard image, video, GIF, watermark, and enhancement tasks, your source files are intended to remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers by default.

If a future feature explicitly requires cloud processing or third-party AI capability, the product interface should identify that behavior separately at the point of use.

4. How we use information

We use collected information to provide account access, maintain downloads and membership entitlements, complete authentication, respond to support requests, improve service reliability, and communicate essential product or policy updates.

5. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us operate authentication, payments, hosting, analytics, customer support, or security workflows, but only for legitimate business purposes and under appropriate contractual restrictions.

When you choose to sign in with a third-party provider, that provider’s privacy policy also applies to information they process.

6. Cookies and session storage

The website may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to maintain login state, remember essential settings, support security controls, and improve usability.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including account maintenance, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and recordkeeping.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also stop using the product, remove local files from your own device, or contact us regarding account data.

10. Children

Tooliva is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. If we learn that personal information was collected from a child in violation of law, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our product, legal obligations, or data practices change. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
